Your CRM, updated by the call itself.
Tenali sits on your calls, then turns what was said into HubSpot records — updated deals, new companies, logged meetings, follow-up tasks. Every change carries the quote it came from, and anything that moves your forecast waits for your approval.
Asking about your pipeline works as soon as you connect. Writing back to HubSpot is switched on per workspace by our team — talk to us and we’ll enable it.
What it does
The gap
The pipeline review is a work of fiction.
Not because anyone lied. Because updating HubSpot is the last thing on a rep’s list after five calls, and the notes that would have made it accurate are in a doc, a DM, and someone’s head.
So stages sit where they were three weeks ago, next steps read “follow up”, and close dates are whatever was true at the start of the quarter. Then the forecast is built on it.
Tenali was on the call. It knows what was agreed, who committed to what, and when they said it would close — so the update writes itself, and the changes that move your forecast stop for your check.
What it does
Read it, write it, and know where it came from.
Ask about any deal, in plain language
"What's open in Negotiation?" "When did we last talk to Contoso?" Tenali reads your HubSpot live at the moment you ask and links straight to the record it used — no export, no stale copy.
Update deals from what was actually said
Stage, amount, close date, next step, description, name, priority and deal type — drafted from the call, each one carrying the quote it came from, and the ones that move your forecast waiting on a card before they land.
Create the company and deal that don't exist yet
New logo off a first call? Tenali creates the company and its deal together, linked to each other and to any contacts it resolved, instead of making you go and set the records up by hand.
Log the meeting and the follow-ups
A note on the deal, a to-do for the next step, a new contact for the person who joined halfway through. The admin work that normally happens at 6pm, done as you talk.
The review step
Autonomy where it’s harmless. A checkpoint where it isn’t.
Every proposed change is classified by what it would do to your numbers — and the ones that move the forecast stop and show you the before and after.
Applied for you
Logging the meeting as a note, creating a follow-up task, adding a contact, filling a field that was empty. Additive and lower-risk — not worth interrupting you for.
Waits for your tick
Stage, amount, close date, and overwriting text that's already there. Anything that changes what leadership sees stops and asks.
Always needs confirmation
Moving a deal to closed-won or closed-lost, and creating a brand-new company or deal. There is no phrasing and no setting that lets these through on their own.
Want it stricter? Say “ask me first” and everything waits. Want it faster? Say “go ahead” and updates that move the forecast go through too — except a move to closed-won or closed-lost, and a brand-new company or deal, which always stop and show you the card.
How it works
No field mapping. No implementation project.
Connect your own account and start asking. There’s nothing to configure and nothing for RevOps to maintain.
Connect your own HubSpot
One OAuth authorization from the Integrations page. Tenali reads and writes as you, so it only ever touches records your HubSpot user can already reach.
Run your calls as usual
Tenali captures the meeting, writes the summary, and pulls out the commitments — the close date someone mentioned, the next step, the new stakeholder.
Ask, review, apply
Tell Tenali to update HubSpot from the call. It shows you the proposed changes with before and after, and anything that moves your forecast waits for your approval.
Guardrails
Letting an AI write to your CRM should be a small decision.
It is here, because the blast radius is bounded, every change is attributable, and what Tenali applied it can walk back — within limits it tells you about.
Nothing moves your forecast silently
By default, stage, amount and close date wait on a review card before they're written. A move to closed-won or closed-lost always needs your explicit tick — however you phrase the request — as does creating a new company or deal, and nothing auto-applies when Tenali isn't confident it matched the right record.
It acts as you, not as a service account
Everything Tenali writes is attributed to your HubSpot user, and it can only see the records you can see. Nobody gets a wider view of the pipeline than they already had.
Undo is a sentence away
"Undo that" reverses what Tenali applied — restoring previous field values and taking back the contacts, companies and deals it created. HubSpot doesn't allow notes or tasks to be deleted, so a note is marked reverted and a task is set to completed instead, and a field that was blank before Tenali filled it stays populated. Tenali reports item by item what it reversed and what it couldn't.
A bounded blast radius
Tenali never changes a record's owner, never writes custom fields or custom objects, and never touches tickets, quotes or leads. It doesn't delete records your team created.

What RevOps and sales leaders ask before connecting HubSpot
Stop retyping your calls into HubSpot.
Connect your own HubSpot in a click and let the meeting do the CRM admin — each change sourced to a quote, forecast-moving updates waiting for your review, and eligible recent changes undoable from the same conversation.
CRM lookups are included with any Tenali plan that has AI chat. Write-back is switched on per workspace — a 30-minute call is the quickest way to see it on your own pipeline.
