Tenali AI Product Capabilities
Tenali AI offers two main products: AI Sales Engineer for real-time call assistance and AI Chief of Staff for administrative automation. This page details all capabilities.
AI Sales Engineer Capabilities
Real-Time Call Assistance
Tenali AI listens to live sales calls and provides instant answers as questions are asked.
- Invisible operation: No bot joins the call. Buyers don't know AI is being used.
- Instant answers: Responses appear in 1-2 seconds after a question is asked.
- Context-aware: Tenali AI understands the conversation flow, not just keywords.
- Any platform: Because the desktop app captures audio on your own machine, it works on any meeting or call — Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, Webex, Slack huddles, browser calls, sales dialers, phone calls, and in-person conversations.

Tenali in Slack
Tenali has a Slack app you can talk to in plain language. There are no slash commands and no syntax to learn.
- Direct message: ask about meetings, transcripts, documents, action items and CRM records — the same answers available in the web app, scoped to what your own account can see
- Channel mention: tag Tenali in a channel and it answers in the thread, drawing only on the organization's shared knowledge — it cannot open meetings, CRM records or anyone's private files, though answers auto-captured from calls are part of that shared knowledge
- File upload: send a document in the DM and Tenali indexes it as a private source, then messages you when it's ready to answer from (private to the sender until an admin shares it)
- CRM approval cards: ask Tenali to update the CRM and changes that move the forecast are posted with before-and-after values for you to approve or discard. In the web app, additive changes such as a note or a task can apply on their own; in Slack every change waits for your approval, including additive ones, and nothing is written until you approve it. Both CRM lookups and write-back work as soon as you connect a CRM — there is no separate enablement step for writes
- Channel knowledge: chosen Slack channels can be indexed as sources, with messages filtered for signal before indexing
Platform Integrations

Nothing to connect — the desktop app captures any call on your machine. Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams and Slack are detected automatically; everything else (Webex, browser calls, dialers such as Outreach, Aircall, RingCentral, Dialpad, Orum and Nooks, plus phone and in-person conversations) is captured on demand.
